ISO 22301 Master
Denis Goulet is a recognised expert in the Business Continuity Management (BCM) field with over 30 years of experience covering Financial, Telecommunication, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Distribution and Government organisations. Over the years, Denis has helped these organisations with the definition, the development, the implementation, the maintenance, the exercise, the review and the audit of their Business Continuity Management System.
Since 1999, Denis has developed an international career where he provides BCM consulting and coaching services as well as high quality BCM training to BCM professionals of private and public organisations, in North America, Europe, the Middle-East and Africa.
In 1992, Denis obtained the CBCP certification (DRI International). He obtained in 2008 the MBCI certification (Business Continuity Institute). In 2012, Denis obtained the ISO 22301 Lead Implementer certification and the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor certification (PECB). In 2014, he obtained the ISO 22301 Master certification (PECB).
Denis has contributed to the BCM community as a member of the Board of Directors of DRIE-Montréal (1999-2000) and Disaster Recovery Institute Canada (1998-2000). He served on the BC Management International Benchmarking Advisory Board (2008-2015) and was the founding Leader of the BCI-Québec forum (2009-2010). Denis founded BCMIX in 2007 and manages this virtual Business Continuity Management international community with over 15,000 members.
Experienced and enthusiastic speaker since 1994, Denis has spoken on various subjects like BCM exercises, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), selling BCM to senior management, etc. He has the required communication skills for presenting to all types of audiences (technical staff, business representative, managers, executives, etc.) in the private and public sectors. Denis is fluent in the English and French languages.
